[accordion margintop=”0px” marginbottom=”0px”][acc title=”Eyelash Extensions Pre-Treatment” class=”acc_active”] It is highly recommended to book a patch test 36-48 hours prior to your appointment. This is a complimentary service. If you use waterproof mascara, avoid using it 2-3 days before your first appointment. The film it leaves on your lashes may prevent the extensions from adhering correctly. Arrive to your appointment with dry, clean lashes and makeup-free eyes. Remove contact lenses before your appointment. Avoid caffeine, as this can cause fluttering and twitching of the eye. Use the washroom before your appointment. Be prepared to lie down with your eyes very still for 2+hours for the first appointment.[/acc]
[acc title=”Eyelash Extensions After Care” class=””] Avoid water and steam for first 2 hours. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, hot yoga, swimming pools and facials for first 24 hours. After this time all of these activities are fine, but extended time spent can cause weaker retention and require more frequent fills. Wash your lashes daily. Use specially formulated lash wash available at Lash Fox Beauty, or an oil free cleanser. Do not use cotton or towels as they may tug on the lashes. Use lash brush and/or paper towel. Do not rub your eyes or tug, pick or pull at your lashes. If lashes are twisted or out of place use spoolie to gently comb them back into place. Avoid all oil based products. Oil will break down the bond in the adhesive. This can include moisturizers, serums, foundations, face wash, sunscreen, eyeliners, eye shadows, etc. Do not use mascara, eyelash curlers or strip eyelashes. These can cause damage to the extensions as well as your natural lashes, and create build up which may prevent you from being able to get a fill. Try to sleep on your back as often as possible. Sleeping on your side or stomach can crush and twist your lashes. If you are a side or stomach sleeper consider purchasing a specialty sleep mask. Book your lash fill in advance. Depending on your natural lash growth and after care this can be anywhere from 2-4 weeks time. Do not try to remove lashes on your own. Contact Lash Fox Beauty for a removal, or allow them to shed naturally. [/acc]

Avoid rubbing, or playing with your lashes, resist the temptation to touch. Do not sleep on your lashes for the first 24 hours. [acc title=” Eyelash /Eyebrow Tinting After Care” class=””] Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes, or eyebrows immediately after the treatment. If redness or irritation occurs apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours seek medical advice. Effects of the tint will start to diminish within 2 to 3 weeks as hair grows out and the tint color fades. Strong sunlight/UV light can make the tint color fade faster. Avoid wetting or washing your hair, eyelids, eyelashes, eyebrows, or swimming for 24 hours. Use gentle facial cleanser or eye makeup remover and avoid exfoliating cleansers or those products containing AHA’s and oil. Do not apply makeup or mascara to lashes or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after the lash or brow tinting treatment. Use gentle facial cleanser or eye makeup remover to extend the longevity of the tint. [/acc]

[acc title=”Spray Tan Pre-Treatment” class=””] Keep your skin well moisturized for 2-3 days prior to your Spray Tan. Please do not apply deodorant, perfumes, make-up or moisturizers 6 hours prior to your treatment – or – please ensure all of these products are rinsed off with clean water before your Spray Tan. Avoid skin care products with contain excessive amounts of oil and/or are oil based. Oil will sit on the surface of your skin and our tanning solutions will not be able to develop to its full potential. Arrive for your Spray Tan with dry hair, as wet hair may drip onto your skin and cause an un-even result. Avoid wearing white (or your best!) underwear as our Spray Tanning solutions may mark the garments, although in most cases the tanning solution we use will wash out of your clothing. We can provide you with disposable garments if required. [/acc]
[acc title=”Spray Tan Post-Treatment” class=””] Remember to bring loose clothing and flip flops with you to wear after your Spray Tan. The first few hours after application are the most crucial, and any tight fitting clothing may affect the results. Avoid wearing bra straps after your Spray Tanning treatment as this may affect the results. Avoid exercise straight after your Spray Tan, as you do not want to sweat the developing tan away. After you have rinsed your guide colour off, exercising as normal is fine. After your first shower, keep your skin really well moisturized with an oil-free product. This will keep your tan looking even and natural. Please try to avoid long baths and/or showers as this may shorten the life of your Spray Tan. Avoid saunas, steam rooms and chlorinated swimming pools as these luxuries promote skin exfoliation. Towards the end of the 7 days you will see your Spray Tan is starting to fade in places, usually around the bra line. This is when you can now start to lightly exfoliate using a gentle body scrub to keep an even colour. REMEMBER – your Spray Tan does not contain an SPF, please wear an oil-free protection [/acc]
